Off the pitch, Marcus Rashford has been a role model and the Manchester United star is ready to do even more charitable acts in 2021.

On the pitch, Rashford is already proving his worth at Manchester United. Off it, he’s making his impact fully known as well.

The 23-year-old led a successful campaign to extend the provision of free school meals for vulnerable children during the spring lockdown. Since then, he has continued to work on projects to tackle child hunger.

It is no surprise that his acts off the pitch has earned Rashford all the plaudits and deserved recognition as well.

He was awarded an MBE in October for services to vulnerable children during Covid-19.

Just days ago, Rashford was also the recipient of The FIFA Foundation Award for similar exploits off the pitch.

Rashford let out his plans off the pitch for 2021 after watching a documentary in honor of his work by the BBC.
The one-hour documentary ‘Marcus Rashford: Feeding Britain’s Children’ showed the United forward interacting with littlekids as he continues the fight to eradicate poverty and provide adequate for children in the United Kingdom.

The United star tweeted: “I don’t even know why I’m so sad watching this.
“I’m just really proud of how far we’ve come and thankful to the game of football for helping us out.
“2021 has to be the year of change and to commitment to combat child food poverty across the UK once and for all,” he tweeted.
“If 2020 has taught us anything it’s that any one of us could fall into unforeseen circumstances. Now is the time for action.

Rashford continued on his goals for next year: “We need a long term sustainable framework to catch children falling through the cracks. That has to be the goal of 2021.

“To restaurant owners who have had Christmas Day bookings cancelled, I can’t imagine what you are going through but if you have excess produce, consider putting that to good use to help our most vulnerable.”
