1.       Liverpool vs Manchester city

This is probably the match of the week. Both teams have had good runs in the premier league so far. They both tie at 19 points after 7 matches having dropped just two points though Manchester city have a superior goal difference. They are both unbeaten so far in the league. Liverpool will rely on the likes of in-form Mohammed Salah, Roberton Firmino and Sadio Mane to deliver the crucial 3 points while Manchester will be banking on Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Raheem Sterling for a win. The two teams have free scoring strikers and both teams scoring could be an option to pick.

Liverpool have a good run against Manchester city having won all their last 3 meetings.  Liverpool have claimed three straight clean-sheet wins at Anfield in this competition.  Last weekend’s 1-1 stalemate in London was a much tougher test, with only a late Daniel Sturridge wonder strike rescuing a point for the Reds after several other chances went begging.

2.       Fulham vs Arsenal

Arsenal have won eight matches in all competitions in a row. They may not entirely be convincing at times, but winning is becoming a habit under Unai Emery. To break the run, Fulham must prey on Arsenal’s defensive fragility and they have the perfect pair in Andre Schurrle and Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Serb, if given the right service, should have the beating of Shkodran Mustafi. The German always seems to have a blunder on the horizon and if Arsenal’s strikers have an off day then Fulham could snatch a much-needed win. Arsenal are hoping that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will have recovered from illness, while Aaron Ramsey could play depending on the timing of his child’s birth. Second option goalkeeper Bernd Leno will make his first Premier League start, with Petr Cech ruled out by a hamstring injury.

Atletico Madrid are Real Betis are all tied at 12 points after 7 league matches.
