- Organisers of the annual Ballon d’Or trophy, L’Equipe have just revealed their very own 2020 World’s XI and there’s one big-name absence as Leo Messi hasn’t made the cut.
- Here is the full line-up: Neuer; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Ramos, Davies; De Bruyne, Kimmich, Alcantara, Neymar; Lewandowski, Ronaldo.
- Messi failed to win a single trophy last season but still managed to score 26 goals.
- As a reminder, the 2020 Ballon d’Or award was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Messi will remain the current holder of the accolade for another year.
